Im going to start working on canes, since I never have done so before. I look around online and I see alot of beautiful canes that people have made in the polymer clay world and would love to be able to make them. So thats my new project. As soon as Im done I will be sure to post pictures. Have a great day.

Back to school magnets

I love these magnets. I think my favorite part of it is the mini book bag. I think its so cute. Everything is made out of polymer clay and I attached a magnet at the bottom using super glue. My inspiration for these magnets was well...school plus thinking about my niece and nephew going to school and getting good grades gave me an idea for when they have that grade they can use these magnets to post them on refrigerator. So I drew a few things out and came up with this. And I think they turned out pretty good.  If you like to purchase this item you can click the link below to my Etsy shop. Homer Simpson Magnets

I have been trying to have different ideas when it came to polymer clay instead of just making figurines. So lately I have been thinking about making magnets. Watching the Simpson movie one day inspired these magnets. The more I watched the movie I figured "hmmm he would look cute as a magnet" So later that day after the movie I decided to make it.

Everything is made out of polymer clay except for his hair which is made out of black wire.  And I attached a magnet on the bottom with superglue. I did the same for the little doughnuts. Tinkerbell Cake

My Niece turned 13 a few months ago and she LOVES Tinkerbell, so she asked me to make her a Tinkerbell cake along with some cupcakes. I have to say this was a fun cake to make and I couldnt wait for her to see it. Her favorite colors are purple and green so I think it was a good match for the theme of the cake.

This is a fondant cake I made with flowers made out of gumpaste. I made everything on the cake Altho I did buy the cake topper. I was gonna make a tinkerbell  for her but decided to buy the topper instead. I used gold edible dust to outline her name, and brown gumpaste to make the wood border around the cake and for the wood her name is on.  The cake itself was a strawberry cake with a strawberry cream cheese buttercream as the filling. She really enjoyed the entire cake and I was so happy she did.
